- Transmission fluid condition, level, and color

Signs Your Transmission Needs a Diagnostic in Colleyville, TX
Do not wait until the problem gets worse. Bring your vehicle to Eagle Transmission on Colleyville Blvd if you notice any of the following:
- Gears slipping or delayed engagement when shifting
- Grinding, whining, or clunking sounds during acceleration
- Transmission fluid leaking under the vehicle
- A burning smell coming from under the hood
- Check engine light, transmission warning light, or overdrive light on
- Rough or jerky shifts between gears
- Vehicle stuck in one gear or refusing to shift at all
Any one of these symptoms is reason enough for a free scan. Catching the issue early is always less expensive than a full rebuild.

How Colleyville's Heat Affects Your Transmission
Tarrant County summers regularly push past 100 degrees for weeks at a time. That heat builds up inside the transmission faster than most drivers expect, especially during stop-and-go conditions on Colleyville Blvd, Glade Road, and SH-26 during peak commute hours.
High operating temperatures break down transmission fluid, accelerate clutch pack wear, and put stress on solenoids and seals. The result is a transmission that starts showing symptoms earlier than the mileage would suggest.
Eagle Transmission uses a fluid condition test as part of every free diagnosis to catch heat-related degradation before it leads to a more expensive repair.
Why Colleyville Drivers Choose Eagle Transmission for a Free Diagnosis
A free diagnosis at Eagle Transmission is not a sales tactic. It is how we make sure every repair recommendation is accurate and every customer leaves informed.

What our Customers Say

I went to Eagle Transmission yesterday to take advantage of a special oil change price they offered as I am a previous customer. I had the manual transmission replaced in my 2016 Jeep Patriot about 2 years ago. It has performed flawlessly.
I arrived 5 minutes before my scheduled appointment, the car was brought immediately into a service bay. The oil change was performed quickly, and the technician noted that my ball joints needed replacing. I opted not to perform that service at this time as I only drive the car about 25 miles per week. I had to wait a few minutes for my bill as yesterday was the receptionist's first day of work. The manager arrived to help her process the bill. He informed me the credit card company now charges 3% so I elected the debit card method. He also provided a thank you bag with water and a few small candy treats. An excellent service visit.

We went to Eagle for the first time ever for oil changes on our 2 older cars. We thought we'd try this place since ownership and management at the old place we used had changed and we were met with rudeness and abrasiveness by woman at the front desk. Coincidentally, Eagle also has new ownership and management and we were met with warmth, respect, and honesty by the manager Michelle and the owner David. We observed their similar interaction with another customer in the waiting room. Apparently David and Michelle's business philosophy/model is to build customer loyalty through honesty, respect, fairness. So we hope they continue to do so as we plan to return for our regular car care repairs/maintenance.

Christian was absolutely awesome! I was so nervous about trying a new garage since I just moved to Texas, but I had the best experience. You can instantly tell he has your best interest in mind and goes above and beyond. I had an oil change and an engine light on and they were quick to tell me what was wrong and were able to fix it very quickly. I definitely recommend this garage and I’ll keep coming back!
