What is this competition?
Eagle Transmission & Automotive Repair – Colleyville is inviting local high school students (grades 9–12) to submit original mural designs for the exterior wall of our shop.
One winning student will have the opportunity to paint their artwork as a permanent public mural, gaining real-world experience, portfolio credit, and community recognition.

Eligibility:
- Open to students in grades 9–12
- Must currently attend a high school in the Colleyville / Grapevine-Colleyville ISD area
- Students may enter solo or as a team of two
- Must be original artwork
- Must have parent permission
- Must be able to transport yourself to/from the shop during mural completion
What to submit:
- A digital or scanned mural concept/sketch
- A short artist statement (3–5 sentences)
- Completed parent/guardian permission form

Judging Criteria
- Creativity & originality
- Connection to Colleyville/community
- Suitability for a public-facing mural
- Feasibility of execution
- Overall visual impact
Winner Selection
- Judged by a panel including Eagle Transmission representatives and community members
- Decision is final
Artwork Rights
- The artist retains credit for the artwork
- Eagle Transmission retains the right to display, photograph, and use the mural and related images for promotional purposes
Mural Execution
- Eagle Transmission will provide all paint and supplies
- Painting will take place on approved dates with adult supervision
- The artist may be photographed during the process
